Connect International Limited was founded by a small group of dynamic and experienced individuals. Three of the six founding members had previously worked for one of the world's largest multinational blue chip organisations managing its Travel Retail, Eastern European and Marketing Communications sectors.

Together they identified an opportunity to assist manufacturers of international brands enter and/or expand their presence in the rapidly growing Travel Retail market (business conducted principally in airport shops, on airlines and on ferries and cruise-ships).

At the beginning Connect was appointed by licensees of The Walt Disney Company to act as their exclusive agent within the Travel Retail market. While selling and developing a unique range of 'Mickey's World' products, Connect's reputation began to attract new customers, and soon it extended its client base to other international brand owners such as Nestlé and United Biscuits. Connect has over the past few years enhanced its profile within Travel Retail, and established itself as a leading industry player.

As a commercial agent, Connect International does not take ownership of its client's goods at any stage, nor is it involved with the handling, storage or physical distribution. Orders are invoiced by the Principal directly to the customer once the goods have been despatched from the warehouse.
